Tiaong is a 1st class municipality in the province of Quezon. We are going to two spots here and it is:

  • Sunshine Farm (sunflower farm)
  • Tunnel of Lights

Shining like the sun, sunflowers are bright golden flowers that are loved by many. It’s big fuzzy disk floret filled with seeds and surrounded by yellow petals made people tantalized by its beauty. It also gives aesthetic to instagram feed that made it loved more especially by youth. Sunshine Farm became sonorous since it was opened to public last February 18.

Sunshine farm is also featured to the national television. Like in GMA news and MMK( the life of Mang Ven)

WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT SUNSHINE FARM?

Instagramable spots. If your up for a yellow feed for your IG account, Sunshine Farm is a great place to go. But it is not only for those who wants yellow feed, there are some parts of it where you can get ig worthy photos. For e.g. the car and the different picture taking spots/booth.

Business with advocacy. It is not only a business which aims to gain money. It is a business which empowers the person with disabilities (PWD). Sunshine Farm gives livelihood opportunity to those PWD. It proves that people like them aren’t limited and can do anything. ” Nag-enjoy ka na, nakatulong ka pa”

Easy to find. Sunshine Farm is located at Lalig, Tiaong. It is only 300 meters away from Citymall Tiaong. When you saw a rainbow like or colorful flag, that’s it. You will also see the sign “Sunshine Farm Philippines” facing the highway. But how will you get there? If you are from San Pablo City, you are going to ride a jeepney that is a byaheng Tiaong. You can either ride near the Cathedral or near Ultimart. The fare costs around 20-25 php. Sunshine farm has an entrance fee- it is not actually an entrance fee but a donation. You are going to give 100 php for the donation.

Sunflowers are hardy and ubiquitous, they bloom but there are times it is not their season, so before you miss out this real deal, go and grab it. As what the quotation says “Better to see something than hear about it a thousand times”

After visiting Sunshine Farm, you can go directly to the tunnel of lights. It is also located at Lalig, Tiaong. It’s near so you can walk. But… this is all for now. To know more about the tunnel of lights, wait for my next blog.

Dolores: Lukong a Great Place to Walk Along

Exhaustion, stressed out, and break down; name it.  It is what most of the individuals are experiencing during these hectic days of our life. What about try to  unwind? Forget the stressors, chill, and laugh. Breathe in some fresh air, calm yourself by the lullaby of nature and devour the freshly made foods.

Looking for a great place to alleviate? I got you!

IT’S JUANDER TIME!

1st destination: Lukong Valley Farm (Dolores, Quezon)

Lukong Valley Farm

Dolores is a 4th class municipality in the province of Quezon. It is a mystical town located at the foot of the well-known mountain, Mount Banahaw. This town is also considered as home of the best street dancers and also famous beacause of the several places that was said to be miraculous.  But little do we know there are some astonishing spots located at this town. Patriculary at one of its barangay, Barangay Pinagdanlayan.

Last October, my friends and I went to this attraction located at Barangay Piangdanlayan, Dolores, Quezon.

I have been to this place several times but was still amazed of its naturalist beauty. It has an eye-soothing look that will make you relaxed

To get there, my friends and I rode a tricycle that is “byaheng piangdanalayan”. The road is some sort of uphill and humpy. Upon arriving we walked on the rocky  path way and in front of us was a green hill with houses constructed above which is really beautiful (what a nice view).

There is an entrance fee which is Php 50 which is inexpensive and budget friendly, and good for those who are thrifty. You can pay at their receiving area that can be easily seen after walking down the path way.

When you roam the place, there are many spots that are instagramable. Good for those who loves taking pictures and for those who loves uploading pictures on instagram.

Taking photos for my friend (located above the honesty store)

If you really want to enjoy the place you can climb the hill through the stairs designated for it. A reminder: there are no handrails on the stairs, so if you are scared of heights, better find a company to be with you. It is not that dangerous beacause the stairs are wide enough to walk on.

Photo not mine

After the arid climbing through the stairs. You will be dazed by the view, for you can see the whole place. It is filled with green hue, the blow of the wind is pressing against your face, and a serene ambiance that will fill your your soul. It can help to replace the negativity inside you and be filled with positivity.

Be relaxed

Most of you will surely starve, but it’s not a problem. They have dining areas and pavilions where you can eat. The price ranges around hundreds, but if you want to thrift you can buy at the Honesty Store, be sure to pay and be honest! (Honesty is the best policy)

Lukong Valley Farm is a great place. The personnels are very accomodating. A must go in the  list for budget friendly travel. If you have time, you can visit it. You will surely not regret it. A trouvaille unlocked.

Trouvaille

Till next time! Let’s go to another JUANDER  TIME!
